1. FILTRATION
HVAC equipment will circulate the air in rooms, heat/cool the air, and then re-circulate to the room.
Given an air change rate of approx. 7 times per hour*, living viruses (assuming 3-hour life) can be carried by particles and circulate 21 times and spread throughout the building within the ducts.
Assumes virus carried by 0.3-1.0µ aerosolized droplet or dust particle.

2. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHTS

- UV-A – is more predominant outdoors than the other two. It helps to tan our skin and is used in medicine to treat certain skin disorders. It is generally a harmless wavelength
- UV-B – is a narrower but more dangerous band of UV. Prolonged exposure has been associated with skin cancer, skin aging, and cataracts (clouding of the lens of the eye).
- UV-C – includes the germicidal wavelength of 253.7nm and is used for air and water disinfection. Human overexposure causes temporary skin redness and harsh eye irritation, but no permanent damage, skin cancer, or cataracts.

3. NEEDLE POINT BI-POLAR IONIZATION (NPBI)
NPBI = Patented technology that uses an electronic charge to create a plasma field filled with a high concentration of + and – ions. As these ions travel with the air stream they attach to particles, pathogens and gases. The ions help to agglomerate fine sub-micron particles, making them filterable. The ions kill pathogens by robbing them of life-sustaining hydrogen. The ions breakdown harmful VOCs with an Electron Volt Potential under twelve (eV<12) into harmless compounds like O2, CO2, N2, and H2O.
